GP4000 series PTFE and Aramid Braided Gland Packing
PTFE packing:
The PTFE packings are manufactured by braiding the PTFE yarns, PTFE-Graphite yarns, as well as the PTFE fibre yarns. The PTFE packings are usually applied in food, pharmaceutical, chemcial and petrochemical industries because of its clean and excellent chemcial resistance to corrosive medias. The PTFE packings can be impregnated with PTFE dispersions or treated with high temperature-resistant lubricants to improve its self-lubrication ability and minimize the shaft worn.
Aramid packing:
The aramid packing are manufactured by braiding the KEVILAR aramid fibre yarns, spun aramid fibre yarns, as well as the Nomax(metal type aramdi) fibre yarns . And after the braiding, impregnated with PTFE depersions and high temperature-resistant lubricants for better sealing and self-lubrication ability. The aramid fibre packing is great to handle highly abrasive media because of its excellent wear resistance.
